VidMaker - Video Downloader ("VidMaker", "we", "our") is published by TECH LOGIC HOST. This policy explains what information the app uses and how.
All editing (merge, trim, compress, convert, video to MP3, video to GIF) happens on your device. Your videos, music and GIFs are not uploaded to our servers. Files you download, import or create are stored inside the app on your device, and you choose when to save them to Photos or share them.
When you paste a direct link to a video file, the app connects directly to that address to download the file to your device. We do not receive or store the links you use. Only download content you own or have permission to save.
The app asks for access to your photo library only to let you pick videos to edit and to save your results to Photos. Camera and microphone permissions are only requested if you choose to record a video through the system picker. Nothing is collected or sent to us.
The free version may show ads provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising identifier, if you allow tracking), approximate location based on IP address, and ad interaction data to show and measure ads. VidMaker Pro is sold through Apple's App Store. Payments are handled by Apple; we do not receive your payment details.
At launch the app loads a small settings file from our server (for example which ads are enabled). This request includes your device's country code and standard technical data such as IP address, which our server does not use to identify you.
The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
